Customers may not visit the facility, inspect inventory, collect an order, or deliver a return without prior written authorization from Iron Vault Industries.
2. SHIPPING AREA
Iron Vault Industries ships eligible products throughout the United States and to selected international destinations.
Shipping availability depends on:
-
Product type.
-
Product dimensions and weight.
-
Destination.
-
Carrier availability.
-
Hazardous-material classification.
-
Export restrictions.
-
Manufacturer or supplier restrictions.
-
Applicable federal, state, local, and international laws.
-
Whether the destination can safely and lawfully receive the product.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order when the product cannot be shipped legally, safely, economically, or through an available carrier service.
3. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE
An automated order-confirmation email only confirms that we received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or approved for shipment.
Before accepting or shipping an order, we may verify:
-
Product availability.
-
Pricing.
-
Billing information.
-
Payment authorization.
-
Shipping address.
-
Vehicle or equipment information.
-
Part-number compatibility.
-
Export eligibility.
-
Fraud-prevention information.
-
Hazardous-material restrictions.
-
Freight-delivery requirements.
We may contact you for additional information before processing the order.
Failure to provide requested verification may delay the shipment or result in cancellation and refund.
An order is accepted when Iron Vault Industries confirms acceptance in writing or transfers the order to the carrier for shipment.
4. ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Most in-stock orders are processed within one to two business days after payment and any required order verification are completed.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding:
-
Federal holidays.
-
Carrier holidays.
-
Announced business closures.
-
Days on which severe weather, emergencies, power outages, or other conditions prevent normal operations.
Orders submitted after normal business hours are treated as having been received on the following business day.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
The following orders may require additional processing time:
-
Special-order products.
-
Supplier-direct shipments.
-
Oversized products.
-
Freight shipments.
-
Hazardous-material shipments.
-
Airbags and pyrotechnic devices.
-
Programmed or configured products.
-
Products requiring inventory verification.
-
High-value orders.
-
International orders.
-
Orders requiring payment or identity verification.
-
Orders involving multiple warehouses.
-
Backordered or discontinued products.
A stated processing time is an estimate unless Iron Vault Industries expressly guarantees a particular shipment date in writing.
5. SHIPPING DELAYS BEFORE DISPATCH
If we cannot ship an order within the time stated on the product page, during checkout, in the order confirmation, or in another written communication, we may provide a revised estimated shipment date.
When required by applicable law, the customer will be given an opportunity to:
-
Accept the revised shipment date; or
-
Cancel the affected unshipped order and receive a refund.
We are not required to cancel products that have already shipped merely because another part of the same order is delayed.
Special-order, custom, programmed, configured, hazardous-material, or supplier-direct products may be subject to separate cancellation terms disclosed before purchase.
6. SHIPPING CARRIERS
Iron Vault Industries may ship using:
-
UPS.
-
FedEx.
-
United States Postal Service.
-
Commercial freight carriers.
-
Regional carriers.
-
Specialty hazardous-material carriers.
-
Manufacturer or distributor delivery services.
-
Another suitable transportation provider.
Unless a specific carrier or service was expressly guaranteed in writing, Iron Vault Industries reserves the right to select or change the carrier and service level.
A carrier may be changed when necessary because of:
-
Package size or weight.
-
Product classification.
-
Hazardous-material restrictions.
-
Service availability.
-
Destination limitations.
-
Weather.
-
Carrier interruptions.
-
Cost.
-
Delivery speed.
-
Security concerns.
-
Operational requirements.
Selecting a preferred carrier during checkout does not guarantee that the selected carrier will be used unless the order expressly states that the selection is guaranteed.
7. FREE U.S. SHIPPING ON ELIGIBLE ORDERS OVER $500
Iron Vault Industries offers free standard shipping on qualifying orders delivered within the contiguous United States when the eligible merchandise subtotal exceeds $500.00.
The qualifying subtotal is calculated:
-
After discounts and promotional reductions.
-
Before sales tax.
-
Before shipping, handling, hazardous-material, freight, insurance, or special-service charges.
-
Using only products eligible for the promotion.
Free shipping generally means standard ground transportation selected by Iron Vault Industries.
Free shipping does not include:
-
Expedited or guaranteed services.
-
Overnight or air service.
-
Freight shipments.
-
Oversized or overweight products.
-
Hazardous materials.
-
Airbags or pyrotechnic devices.
-
Products requiring special handling.
-
International shipments.
-
Alaska.
-
Hawaii.
-
Puerto Rico.
-
United States territories.
-
APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.
-
Remote-area surcharges.
-
Residential freight charges.
-
Liftgate service.
-
Inside delivery.
-
Delivery appointments.
-
Limited-access delivery.
-
Redelivery or storage charges.
-
Customs, duties, brokerage, or import expenses.
A product page, checkout screen, quotation, or invoice may identify additional exclusions.
“Free shipping” means that Iron Vault Industries absorbs or includes the original shipping expense in the transaction. It does not mean the carrier transported the package without cost.
For a non-defective return, refused delivery, incorrect-address return, failed-delivery return, or unclaimed shipment, the actual outbound shipping expense paid by Iron Vault Industries may be deducted from the refund, even when the customer originally received free shipping.
This deduction is separate from the applicable 25% restocking fee and other permitted deductions under our Refund Policy.
8. STANDARD SHIPPING
Standard shipping normally uses ground or economy transportation.
Estimated standard-shipping transit times generally begin after the order has been processed and accepted by the carrier.
Transit times displayed during checkout or provided by a carrier are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.
Standard delivery does not include:
-
Guaranteed delivery on a particular date.
-
Weekend delivery.
-
Holiday delivery.
-
Delivery appointments.
-
Inside delivery.
-
Installation.
-
Unpacking.
-
Debris removal.
-
Liftgate service.
-
Delivery to a particular room or location.
-
Removal of the customer’s old part.
-
Assistance moving or installing the shipment.
9. EXPEDITED AND OVERNIGHT SHIPPING
Expedited, air, and overnight services may be available for an additional charge.
Expedited shipping refers to the carrier’s transportation service after the package is tendered to the carrier. It does not necessarily guarantee same-day order processing.
An order placed with expedited shipping may still require time for:
-
Payment verification.
-
Fraud review.
-
Inventory confirmation.
-
Special packaging.
-
Hazardous-material preparation.
-
Warehouse transfer.
-
Programming or configuration.
-
Export documentation.
-
Carrier pickup.
An expedited delivery estimate is not guaranteed unless Iron Vault Industries expressly states in writing that the delivery date is guaranteed.
Carrier guarantees may be suspended because of weather, emergencies, holidays, service interruptions, or other carrier-defined conditions.
Expedited and overnight shipping charges are nonrefundable after the order has shipped, except when:
-
Iron Vault Industries shipped the wrong product;
-
Iron Vault Industries used a materially slower service than the service purchased without authorization;
-
The carrier approves and pays a service-guarantee claim; or
-
A refund is required by applicable law.
Any refund involving a carrier service guarantee is limited to the amount actually approved and paid by the carrier.
10. SHIPPING ESTIMATES ARE NOT DELIVERY GUARANTEES
Estimated delivery dates are provided for convenience and planning purposes.
Except where Iron Vault Industries expressly provides a written delivery guarantee, estimated delivery dates are not contractual deadlines.
Delivery may be delayed by:
-
Carrier congestion.
-
Weather.
-
Hurricanes.
-
Flooding.
-
Fire.
-
Natural disasters.
-
Road closures.
-
Mechanical failure.
-
Aircraft or transportation delays.
-
Labor disputes.
-
Customs inspections.
-
Government action.
-
Security screenings.
-
Incorrect addresses.
-
Incomplete addresses.
-
Failed delivery attempts.
-
Remote-area limitations.
-
Hazardous-material restrictions.
-
Supplier delays.
-
National emergencies.
-
Events outside our reasonable control.
Iron Vault Industries is not responsible for losses caused solely by a carrier delay after timely shipment, including labor appointments, installation schedules, vehicle downtime, equipment downtime, rental expenses, lost income, or missed deadlines.
Do not schedule installation, disassembly, travel, labor, or equipment downtime until the product has been delivered, inspected, and verified.
11. SHIPPING ADDRESSES
The customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate, secure, accessible, and deliverable address.
Before submitting an order, verify:
-
Recipient’s full name.
-
Business or company name, when applicable.
-
Street address.
-
Apartment, suite, building, or unit number.
-
City.
-
State or province.
-
Postal code.
-
Country.
-
Telephone number.
-
Email address.
-
Freight-access information.
-
Whether the address is residential or commercial.
-
Whether the location is limited access.
-
Whether a loading dock, forklift, or liftgate is available.
Iron Vault Industries is not responsible for delivery problems caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
An address entered through an accelerated payment service, digital wallet, marketplace, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another payment provider remains the customer’s responsibility.
12. ADDRESS CHANGES
Address-change requests are not guaranteed.
Once an order has entered processing, been assigned to a warehouse, had a label created, or been transferred to the carrier, we may be unable to change its destination.
For fraud-prevention and payment-security reasons, we may require the original order to be canceled and a new order placed using the correct address.
A carrier-requested address correction, interception, rerouting, or delivery change may result in additional charges.
The customer is responsible for charges resulting from an address change requested by the customer, including:
-
Carrier interception charges.
-
Address-correction fees.
-
Rerouting fees.
-
Redelivery charges.
-
Storage charges.
-
Return-to-sender charges.
-
Additional shipping expenses.
Iron Vault Industries is not responsible when a carrier declines or fails to complete a requested address change.
13. BILLING AND SHIPPING ADDRESS VERIFICATION
We may require orders to be shipped to:
-
The verified billing address.
-
An address authorized by the payment provider.
-
A confirmed business address.
-
Another address that passes our fraud-prevention review.
We may request:
-
Government-issued identification.
-
Proof of billing address.
-
Payment authorization.
-
Business documentation.
-
Cardholder confirmation.
-
A signed authorization form.
-
Additional order verification.
High-value, unusual, international, or fraud-sensitive orders may be held until verification is completed.
14. PO BOXES, APO, FPO, AND DPO ADDRESSES
Products shipped to a post-office box generally must be eligible for USPS transportation.
UPS, FedEx, freight, oversized, and hazardous-material shipments ordinarily cannot be delivered to a standard post-office box.
APO, FPO, and DPO availability depends on:
-
Product type.
-
Package size.
-
Package weight.
-
Hazardous-material classification.
-
Postal restrictions.
-
Destination restrictions.
Some products cannot be shipped to military or diplomatic addresses because transportation may require air service or international handling.
We may contact the customer for a physical street address or cancel the affected product when no eligible shipping method is available.
15. MULTIPLE WAREHOUSES AND SPLIT SHIPMENTS
Products may ship from:
-
Our warehouse.
-
A manufacturer.
-
A distributor.
-
A supplier.
-
A fulfillment partner.
-
Multiple inventory locations.
An order containing more than one product may arrive in separate packages, through different carriers, or on different dates.
Separate tracking numbers may be issued.
The customer will not ordinarily be charged additional standard shipping merely because Iron Vault Industries chooses to divide an eligible order into multiple shipments.
A delay affecting one product does not automatically delay or cancel products that have already shipped.
16. BACKORDERS, SPECIAL ORDERS, AND SUPPLIER-DIRECT ORDERS
A product identified as backordered, special order, supplier direct, made to order, programmed, configured, or subject to extended handling may have a longer processing time.
Availability dates provided by manufacturers and suppliers are estimates and may change.
We may:
-
Hold the order until all products are available.
-
Ship available products separately.
-
Offer an alternative or superseding product.
-
Provide a revised estimated date.
-
Cancel an unavailable product and issue a refund.
-
Request the customer’s instructions.
Special-order and custom products may become noncancelable once the supplier accepts the order or processing begins.
17. SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS
Iron Vault Industries may require a direct, indirect, adult, or authorized-recipient signature for:
-
High-value orders.
-
Hazardous materials.
-
Airbags or pyrotechnic products.
-
Freight shipments.
-
International shipments.
-
Fraud-sensitive transactions.
-
Replacement shipments.
-
Orders shipped to commercial or shared locations.
-
Orders for which a signature is required by the carrier, insurer, payment provider, or applicable law.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized person is available to receive the shipment.
A customer may not remove a signature requirement without written approval from Iron Vault Industries.
When a customer or carrier redirects a package to a pickup point, access point, carrier facility, locker, mailroom, freight terminal, or another authorized location, delivery to that location may constitute delivery.
Failure to sign for or collect the shipment may result in return-to-sender, redelivery, storage, and restocking charges.
18. DELIVERY TO BUSINESSES, APARTMENTS, COMMUNITIES, AND SHARED LOCATIONS
For deliveries to:
-
Businesses.
-
Repair shops.
-
Warehouses.
-
Apartment buildings.
-
Condominium communities.
-
Hotels.
-
Schools.
-
Offices.
-
Mailrooms.
-
Package rooms.
-
Gated communities.
-
Freight forwarders.
-
Storage facilities.
-
Commercial receiving departments.
The customer is responsible for confirming that the location will accept and securely hold the shipment.
Delivery to an employee, receptionist, concierge, mailroom, property manager, community office, package room, loading dock, receiving department, authorized agent, or other person customarily accepting deliveries at the address may constitute delivery.
Iron Vault Industries is not responsible for disputes between the customer and people or organizations controlling access to the delivery location after confirmed delivery.
19. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION
Carrier records may be used as evidence of shipment and delivery, including:
-
Tracking history.
-
Delivery scans.
-
Delivery photographs.
-
Signatures.
-
GPS or geolocation records.
-
Driver notes.
-
Access-point records.
-
Freight delivery receipts.
-
Terminal pickup records.
-
Postal records.
-
Customs records.
A carrier’s delivery confirmation does not prevent us from reviewing credible evidence of non-delivery, but it may be considered when determining whether a replacement, refund, carrier claim, police report, or further investigation is appropriate.
20. PACKAGE SECURITY AFTER DELIVERY
Customers are responsible for providing a reasonably secure delivery location.
Once a conforming shipment is confirmed as delivered to the address or authorized delivery location, the customer is responsible for protecting the shipment from:
-
Theft.
-
Weather.
-
Animals.
-
Water exposure.
-
Heat.
-
Unauthorized persons.
-
Misplacement.
-
Package-room errors.
-
Mailroom handling.
-
Community-management actions.
-
Failure to collect the shipment promptly.
Iron Vault Industries does not automatically issue a refund or replacement for a package reported missing after confirmed delivery.
We will review the circumstances and may assist with a carrier investigation when appropriate.
21. PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT LOCATED
When tracking shows delivered but the package cannot be located, the customer should promptly:
-
Inspect the delivery area, side doors, garage, porch, gate, mailbox, and surrounding property.
-
Check with household members, employees, neighbors, building staff, package-room staff, community management, and reception personnel.
-
Review any carrier delivery photograph.
-
Contact the carrier.
-
Allow reasonable time for an early or mistaken delivery scan to be corrected.
-
Notify Iron Vault Industries at support@ironvaultindustries.com.
We may require:
-
A signed non-receipt statement.
-
Confirmation of the delivery address.
-
A police report.
-
A theft report.
-
Carrier communications.
-
Photographs of the delivery location.
-
Security-camera information.
-
Cooperation with a carrier or insurer investigation.
A replacement or refund will not be issued until reasonably necessary verification or investigation is completed.
The customer may not receive both a carrier or insurance payment and a full refund or replacement for the same loss.
22. LOST OR MISSING SHIPMENTS
A delayed shipment is not automatically considered lost.
The carrier must generally be given a reasonable opportunity to complete delivery, locate the shipment, correct tracking, or conduct an investigation.
Iron Vault Industries may initiate or assist with a carrier claim when appropriate.
The customer agrees to provide reasonable cooperation, including:
-
Confirming non-receipt.
-
Completing claim forms.
-
Providing identification.
-
Providing address information.
-
Responding to carrier communications.
-
Signing an affidavit when required.
-
Providing relevant evidence.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may:
-
Continue tracing the shipment.
-
Replace the item.
-
Issue a refund.
-
Wait for carrier confirmation.
-
Deny a duplicate claim.
-
Offer another reasonable remedy.
A replacement shipment may require a signature.
23. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Inspect all packages promptly after delivery.
When visible damage is present:
-
Photograph the package before opening whenever possible.
-
Photograph all sides of the outer packaging.
-
Photograph the shipping label.
-
Photograph internal packaging.
-
Photograph the product and damage.
-
Retain all cartons, wrapping, pallets, labels, and packing materials.
-
Do not install, modify, repair, discard, or return the product without instructions.
Report shipping damage to:
support@ironvaultindustries.com
For the fastest claim handling, damage should be reported within 48 hours after delivery.
Failure to report within 48 hours does not eliminate any non-waivable legal right, but delays may impair our ability to verify the damage or recover from the carrier.
Commercial customers must inspect shipments promptly and report visible shortages or damage no later than five business days after delivery, unless otherwise stated in a written contract or prohibited by applicable law.
We may require:
-
Photographs.
-
Video.
-
A carrier inspection.
-
A repair estimate.
-
A written damage description.
-
A delivery receipt.
-
Return of the product.
-
Preservation of the packaging.
-
A signed claim statement.
Do not discard a damaged product or its packaging until the claim is resolved or written authorization is provided.
24. FREIGHT SHIPMENTS
Large, heavy, oversized, palletized, or unusually shaped products may ship by commercial freight carrier.
Freight charges may include:
-
Line-haul transportation.
-
Fuel surcharges.
-
Residential delivery.
-
Liftgate service.
-
Limited-access delivery.
-
Delivery appointments.
-
Inside delivery.
-
Redelivery.
-
Terminal storage.
-
Reclassification.
-
Reweighing.
-
Address correction.
-
Remote-area service.
Unless expressly included in writing, standard freight delivery is curbside or dock delivery only.
It does not include:
-
Inside delivery.
-
Unpacking.
-
Installation.
-
Moving the product into a building.
-
Stair service.
-
Removal of packaging.
-
Removal of an old product.
-
Use of a forklift or crane.
-
Labor to unload beyond the carrier’s ordinary service.
The customer must accurately disclose whether the destination is:
-
Residential.
-
Commercial.
-
Limited access.
-
A school.
-
A farm.
-
A construction site.
-
A storage facility.
-
A government location.
-
A place of worship.
-
A remote or restricted property.
The customer is responsible for additional carrier charges caused by inaccurate delivery information or missing services.
25. FREIGHT DELIVERY INSPECTION
Before signing a freight delivery receipt:
-
Count all pieces.
-
Inspect the pallet, crate, wrapping, straps, and cartons.
-
Look for punctures, tears, crushing, leaning, exposed products, broken straps, water damage, or missing pieces.
-
Compare the shipment with the delivery receipt.
-
Photograph visible damage.
-
Write specific damage or shortage details on the delivery receipt.
Do not sign “clear,” “received in good condition,” or similar wording when visible damage exists.
Writing “subject to inspection” alone may not adequately document visible damage.
For serious visible damage, contact Iron Vault Industries before accepting the shipment when reasonably possible.
A customer who signs for visibly damaged freight without noting the damage may impair or lose the ability to recover from the carrier. This may affect the remedy available, particularly for a commercial transaction.
Concealed damage must be reported immediately after discovery, together with photographs and preserved packaging.
26. FAILED FREIGHT DELIVERY
The customer is responsible for being available during the scheduled freight-delivery window and providing any equipment or personnel required to receive the shipment.
Additional charges caused by the customer may include:
-
Redelivery.
-
Storage.
-
Detention.
-
Reconsignment.
-
Address correction.
-
Terminal handling.
-
Liftgate service.
-
Limited-access service.
-
Residential service.
-
Failed appointment charges.
-
Return freight.
These charges may be billed to the customer or deducted from any refund.
27. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND REGULATED PRODUCTS
Certain automotive, industrial, aerospace, motorcycle, recreational, agricultural, construction, and equipment products may be regulated as hazardous materials or dangerous goods.
These may include:
-
Airbags.
-
Seat-belt pretensioners.
-
Pyrotechnic devices.
-
Pressurized components.
-
Batteries.
-
Aerosols.
-
Paint.
-
Adhesives.
-
Sealants.
-
Oils.
-
Chemicals.
-
Flammable liquids.
-
Compressed gases.
-
Magnetized materials.
-
Other regulated products.
Hazardous-material products are subject to special:
-
Packaging.
-
Labeling.
-
Documentation.
-
Carrier approval.
-
Service-level restrictions.
-
Destination restrictions.
-
Quantity limits.
-
Handling charges.
-
Return restrictions.
Iron Vault Industries reserves the right to select the carrier, service, package configuration, and delivery method required for legal and safe transportation.
A shipping method displayed by the website does not override hazardous-material laws or carrier restrictions.
28. AIRBAGS AND PYROTECHNIC PRODUCTS
Airbags, seat-belt pretensioners, and similar pyrotechnic safety products may require regulated hazardous-material transportation.
When applicable, a mandatory hazardous-material shipping and handling charge may be added to the order. Unless another amount is displayed on the product page or during checkout, the applicable charge may include a $100 hazardous-material service fee.
The total charge may be higher when required because of:
-
Package size.
-
Multiple regulated products.
-
Destination.
-
Carrier service.
-
Additional packaging.
-
Residential delivery.
-
Remote-area delivery.
-
Regulatory changes.
-
Carrier surcharges.
Airbags and other regulated pyrotechnic devices:
-
Cannot be shipped through every carrier.
-
Cannot be shipped using every service.
-
May be prohibited from international shipment.
-
May be prohibited to Alaska, Hawaii, territories, military addresses, or air-only destinations.
-
May require an adult signature.
-
May be nonreturnable except for a confirmed seller error, shipping damage, defect, or legal requirement.
-
Must not be reshipped by the customer without complying with all transportation laws.
The customer must not place a regulated product into ordinary mail or an unauthorized carrier system.
29. HAZARDOUS-MATERIAL SHIPPING CHARGES
Hazardous-material and special-handling charges are nonrefundable after shipment except when:
-
Iron Vault Industries shipped the wrong item;
-
The item was materially misdescribed;
-
The shipment was canceled before regulated transportation occurred; or
-
A refund is required by law.
A hazardous-material shipping charge is separate from ordinary shipping and may still apply when the merchandise otherwise qualifies for free shipping.
30. SHIPPING INSURANCE AND DECLARED VALUE
Optional shipping protection, insurance, or declared-value coverage may be offered during checkout or arranged for certain shipments.
Carrier liability, declared value, and third-party shipping protection are governed by the applicable provider’s terms.
Purchasing shipping protection does not expand a product warranty or cover:
-
Incorrect fitment.
-
Buyer’s remorse.
-
Installation damage.
-
Product misuse.
-
Normal wear.
-
Damage occurring after confirmed delivery.
-
Excluded or fraudulent claims.
Not purchasing optional shipping protection does not waive any non-waivable right the customer has under applicable law.
31. REFUSED SHIPMENTS
Refusing delivery does not cancel an order and does not create an automatic right to a full refund.
A refused shipment will generally be treated as a customer-choice return unless the refusal was authorized because:
-
Iron Vault Industries shipped the wrong product.
-
The shipment showed serious visible damage.
-
Iron Vault Industries instructed the customer to refuse it.
-
Applicable law requires another result.
An unauthorized refused shipment may be subject to deductions for:
-
The 25% restocking fee.
-
Original outbound shipping.
-
Free-shipping expense.
-
Return shipping.
-
Carrier surcharges.
-
Freight charges.
-
Hazardous-material charges.
-
Storage.
-
Brokerage.
-
Customs.
-
Other direct expenses.
32. INCORRECT, INCOMPLETE, OR UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESSES
An order returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, inaccessible, or undeliverable address will be treated as a customer-caused return.
Any refund may be reduced by:
-
The 25% restocking fee.
-
Original outbound shipping.
-
Return-to-sender shipping.
-
Address-correction fees.
-
Carrier interception charges.
-
Storage charges.
-
Redelivery charges.
-
Freight charges.
-
Hazardous-material charges.
-
Customs and brokerage expenses.
-
Other direct carrier costs.
If the customer requests reshipment, all additional shipping and carrier charges must be paid before the order is shipped again.
33. UNCLAIMED PACKAGES AND FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
The customer is responsible for monitoring tracking and collecting packages held by:
-
Carrier facilities.
-
Access points.
-
Post offices.
-
Freight terminals.
-
Customs authorities.
-
Package rooms.
-
Other authorized locations.
A package returned because it was not collected, because delivery attempts failed, or because the customer was unavailable may be treated as a customer-choice return.
If the carrier abandons, destroys, disposes of, or assesses charges against an unclaimed shipment, the customer may be responsible for the resulting loss and expenses to the extent permitted by law.
34. FREIGHT FORWARDERS AND PACKAGE-FORWARDING SERVICES
When the customer directs a shipment to a freight forwarder, exporter, consolidator, reshipper, package-forwarding service, or another intermediary:
-
Delivery to that intermediary constitutes delivery to the customer to the extent permitted by law.
-
The customer must inspect the product before it is forwarded.
-
Damage or shortage must be reported before further transportation.
-
Iron Vault Industries is not responsible for damage, loss, repackaging, removal of packaging, or missing components occurring after delivery to the intermediary.
-
The customer is responsible for export, customs, and destination-country compliance.
-
Warranties and returns may require the item to be returned to the United States at the customer’s expense.
Iron Vault Industries will not reimburse international forwarding charges, secondary transportation, customs, duties, brokerage, or other costs incurred after delivery to the original United States destination.
35. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping is available only for eligible products and destinations.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, international customers are responsible for:
-
Import duties.
-
Taxes.
-
Value-added tax.
-
Customs charges.
-
Brokerage fees.
-
Inspection fees.
-
Storage fees.
-
Import permits.
-
Product registrations.
-
Local certification.
-
Currency-conversion fees.
-
Destination-country compliance.
-
Return transportation.
-
Any other governmental or carrier charges.
These expenses are not included in the product price or ordinary shipping charge unless expressly displayed.
Customs authorities may delay, inspect, open, repackage, hold, reject, return, seize, or destroy a shipment.
Iron Vault Industries does not control customs processing and cannot guarantee a customs-clearance date.
36. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS
Products may not be shipped internationally when restricted by:
-
United States export laws.
-
Destination-country laws.
-
Carrier rules.
-
Manufacturer restrictions.
-
Hazardous-material regulations.
-
Sanctions or embargoes.
-
Product certification requirements.
-
Air-transportation restrictions.
Airbags, pyrotechnic devices, hazardous materials, certain batteries, pressurized products, chemicals, and oversized products may be prohibited from international shipment.
We may cancel an affected product and issue a refund when no lawful shipping method is available.
37. INTERNATIONAL REFUSALS AND CUSTOMS NONPAYMENT
Refusing an international shipment, failing to provide customs documentation, or failing to pay duties, taxes, brokerage, or import charges does not create a right to a full refund.
If the product is returned to Iron Vault Industries, any refund may be reduced by:
-
The 25% restocking fee.
-
Original international shipping.
-
Return international shipping.
-
Customs charges.
-
Duties assessed against us.
-
Brokerage.
-
Storage.
-
Abandonment fees.
-
Carrier penalties.
-
Hazardous-material charges.
-
Other direct expenses.
No refund will be issued for a shipment that is destroyed, abandoned, seized, or otherwise not returned to us, except to the extent required by law or recovered from the carrier or government authority.
38. EXPORT COMPLIANCE
The customer may not export, reexport, divert, transfer, or use products in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, embargo, or trade laws.
We may require:
-
End-user information.
-
Intended-use information.
-
Destination information.
-
Export documentation.
-
Business identification.
-
Government authorization.
-
Written certification.
Orders may be delayed or canceled when required information is not supplied or when the transaction presents a legal or compliance concern.
39. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation requests must be made before shipment and are not guaranteed.
An order may no longer be cancelable after:
-
Warehouse processing begins.
-
Inventory is allocated.
-
A supplier accepts the order.
-
Programming or configuration begins.
-
Special packaging begins.
-
Hazardous-material documentation is prepared.
-
A shipping label is created.
-
The shipment is transferred to the carrier.
Once an order has shipped, it must be handled under our Refund Policy.
Refusing the delivery is not a substitute for obtaining cancellation approval.
40. SHIPPING CHARGES AND REFUNDS
Except for a confirmed Iron Vault Industries error or where required by law, the following are nonrefundable after shipment:
-
Original shipping charges.
-
Expedited shipping.
-
Overnight shipping.
-
International shipping.
-
Freight charges.
-
Hazardous-material charges.
-
Residential delivery fees.

-

-
Delivery-appointment fees.
-
Insurance or declared-value charges.
-
Customs, duties, taxes, and brokerage.
-
Carrier correction or interception fees.
When a prepaid return label is provided for a non-defective customer-choice return, its cost may be deducted from the refund.
For orders shipped with free shipping, the actual original transportation expense may be deducted from a non-defective return.
All returns remain subject to our Refund Policy, including the applicable 25% restocking fee.
41. REPLACEMENT SHIPMENTS
A replacement is not automatically issued merely because a customer reports delay, damage, defect, or non-delivery.
Before issuing a replacement, we may require:
-
Carrier investigation.
-
Photographs.
-
Return of the original product.
-
Delivery confirmation review.
-
A signed affidavit.
-
Proof of damage.
-
Police or theft report.

-
Payment for a replacement pending return of the original product.
When Iron Vault Industries confirms that we shipped the wrong product or that a replacement is otherwise appropriate, we will provide instructions.
The customer may not retain both the original product and a replacement unless Iron Vault Industries provides written authorization.
If the original shipment is later delivered after a replacement or refund, the customer must promptly notify us and follow our instructions for return or payment.
42. CUSTOMER-ARRANGED SHIPPING
Do not arrange independent transportation, freight, courier, or return shipping on behalf of Iron Vault Industries without written authorization.

Insurance.
-

45. RISK OF LOSS
Risk of loss is determined under applicable law and the agreed method of shipment.
For eligible consumer transactions, risk of loss passes at the time provided by applicable consumer and commercial law.
For commercial buyers and shipment contracts that do not require Iron Vault Industries to deliver the product to a specific destination, risk of loss may pass when conforming goods are properly tendered to the carrier.
Risk of loss for materially nonconforming goods remains governed by applicable law.
Regardless of risk-of-loss rules, Iron Vault Industries may assist with a carrier claim as a customer service without admitting additional liability.
After confirmed delivery, the customer is responsible for the security and protection of the shipment, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
46. CARRIER TERMS
Shipments are also subject to the applicable carrier’s:
-
Terms and conditions.
-
Service guide.
-
Tariffs.
-
Hazardous-material rules.
-
Packaging requirements.
-
Delivery procedures.
-
Claim requirements.
-
Liability limitations.
When a carrier rule conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, applicable law controls.
Carrier policies may change without notice and may affect service availability, delivery estimates, surcharges, and claim procedures.
47. POLICY ABUSE AND FRAUD
Iron Vault Industries may refuse service, restrict shipping methods, require signatures, cancel orders, or suspend accounts when we reasonably suspect:
-
Payment fraud.
-
Address fraud.
-
False non-delivery claims.
-
Return fraud.
-
Chargeback abuse.
-
Repeated refused deliveries.
-

-
Violation of our policies.
We may provide relevant transaction, tracking, delivery, inspection, and communication records to carriers, payment processors, insurers, marketplaces, financial institutions, or law-enforcement authorities when reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
48. POLICY CHANGES
We may revise this Shipping Policy by posting an updated version on our website.
The updated policy will state its effective date.
The version in effect when an order is submitted generally governs that order, unless:
-
The parties agree otherwise;
-
A change is required by law; or
-
A carrier or government restriction must be applied immediately for safety or compliance reasons.
49. NON-WAIVABLE CUSTOMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Shipping Policy eliminates or restricts a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
When a provision conflicts with mandatory consumer-protection law, the mandatory law controls, and the remaining provisions remain effective.
