Refund policy

Iron Vault Industries Return and Refund Policy

30-Day Return Policy

Iron Vault Industries accepts eligible returns requested within 30 calendar days after the order is delivered.

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • New, unused, uninstalled, and unmodified.

  • In the same condition in which it was received.

  • Returned with all original packaging, labels, tags, manuals, hardware, accessories, and components.

  • Accompanied by the order number, receipt, or other proof of purchase.

  • Free from installation marks, grease, fuel, fluids, scratches, damage, paint, drilling, alteration, or other evidence of use.

Serial numbers, manufacturer labels, security markings, and identifying information must match our original shipment.

Returns that do not satisfy these requirements may be refused or may receive a reduced refund based on the item’s condition and loss in value.

Requesting a Return

All returns require prior authorization from Iron Vault Industries.

To request a return, email:

support@ironvaultindustries.com

Please include:

  • Your name and order number.

  • The item or part number being returned.

  • The reason for the return.

  • Photographs when the item is damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect.

Approved returns must be shipped to:

Iron Vault Industries
300 SW 143rd St
Newberry, FL 32669

This address is a shipping and receiving location and is not a retail storefront. Returns may not be dropped off in person unless Iron Vault Industries provides written authorization.

When a return is approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization number, or RMA number, and return instructions. The RMA number must be clearly included with the shipment.

Items returned without prior authorization may be refused, returned to the sender, or subject to additional processing expenses.

Unless otherwise stated in the approval, an authorized return must be shipped within 14 calendar days after authorization.

25% Restocking Fee

A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved non-defective returns, including returns resulting from:

  • The customer changing their mind.

  • Ordering the wrong item or part number.

  • Purchasing an item that does not fit the customer’s vehicle, equipment, or application.

  • Duplicate or accidental orders.

  • No longer needing or wanting the item.

  • Refusing delivery.

  • Providing an incorrect, incomplete, inaccessible, or undeliverable address.

  • Failing to collect a shipment from the carrier.

  • Returning an otherwise correctly described and correctly supplied item.

The restocking fee is calculated using the item’s merchandise price before taxes and shipping charges.

The 25% restocking fee will not apply when Iron Vault Industries confirms that:

  • We shipped the wrong item.

  • The item was materially different from its description.

  • The item arrived damaged due to shipping.

  • The item was defective when received.

  • Applicable law prohibits the fee.

Restocking fees are not charged to qualifying returns made under the European Union’s statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. However, deductions may still be made where permitted by law for diminished value caused by unnecessary handling or use.

Fitment and Part-Number Responsibility

Customers are responsible for confirming that the item and part number are correct for their vehicle, machine, equipment, model, serial number, VIN, engine, trim level, production date, and intended application before ordering.

Product descriptions, compatibility information, interchange references, and fitment assistance are provided as general information. Unless Iron Vault Industries expressly confirms compatibility in writing using complete and accurate vehicle or equipment information supplied by the customer, fitment assistance does not constitute a guarantee.

A return caused by incorrect fitment, an incorrect part number, or incomplete information supplied by the customer is considered a non-defective return and is subject to the 25% restocking fee and return-shipping charges.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return-shipping expenses for non-defective returns.

When Iron Vault Industries provides a prepaid return label for a customer-choice return, the cost of that label will be deducted from the refund.

Iron Vault Industries will pay reasonable return-shipping expenses when we confirm that the item:

  • Was shipped incorrectly.

  • Was materially misdescribed.

  • Arrived damaged.

  • Was defective when received.

Customers must package returned items securely. The customer is responsible for loss or damage occurring during return shipment when the customer selects or arranges the return carrier.

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. Iron Vault Industries is not responsible for returned items until they are delivered to and accepted at our return location.

Original and Outbound Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable for non-defective returns.

This includes:

  • Standard outbound shipping.

  • Expedited or overnight shipping.

  • Freight and oversized-item charges.

  • Residential, liftgate, limited-access, redelivery, or appointment fees.

  • Hazardous-material handling and transportation charges.

  • International brokerage, customs, taxes, and duties.

When an order was advertised or shipped with “free shipping,” the actual outbound shipping expense paid by Iron Vault Industries may be deducted from the refund for a non-defective return.

These deductions do not apply when prohibited by law or when the return resulted from a confirmed Iron Vault Industries error.

Incorrect Addresses, Refused Deliveries, and Unclaimed Packages

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

A shipment returned because of an incorrect address, incomplete address, refused delivery, failure to collect the package, failed delivery attempts, or another customer-caused delivery issue will be treated as a non-defective return.

The refund will be reduced by:

  • The 25% restocking fee.

  • The original outbound shipping expense.

  • Return-to-sender shipping charges.

  • Carrier address-correction, redelivery, storage, freight, or handling charges.

  • Any other direct carrier charges resulting from the delivery failure.

Shipping charges may apply even when the original order included free shipping.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Incomplete Items

Please inspect the shipment promptly after delivery.

Contact support@ironvaultindustries.com as soon as possible when:

  • The item arrived damaged.

  • The package shows signs of shipping damage.

  • The item is defective.

  • The wrong item was received.

  • Parts, hardware, or components are missing.

Please retain the product, packaging, shipping carton, packing materials, and shipping label while the claim is being reviewed. We may require photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label, damage, serial number, or part number.

Do not install, alter, repair, discard, or return the item until instructions are provided. Installation or continued use of a visibly damaged or incorrect item may affect return eligibility.

When a claim is confirmed, Iron Vault Industries may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Provide replacement components.

  • Replace the item.

  • Provide a prepaid return label.

  • Repair the item where appropriate.

  • Issue a refund.

Electrical and Electronic Components

Electrical and electronic items are eligible for ordinary customer-choice returns only when they remain unopened, unused, and uninstalled.

Electrical or electronic components that have been opened, plugged in, programmed, energized, installed, or tested are not returnable unless Iron Vault Industries confirms that they were defective when supplied or return rights are required by law.

This category may include control modules, computers, sensors, switches, relays, displays, wiring components, ignition components, electronic accessories, and similar products.

Proof of professional diagnosis or installation may be required when reviewing an alleged defect.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for ordinary customer-choice returns:

  • Items clearly marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable.”

  • Special-order, custom-made, programmed, configured, modified, or personalized items.

  • Installed, used, damaged, altered, painted, drilled, repaired, or incomplete items.

  • Opened fluids, chemicals, oils, sealants, adhesives, paints, or lubricants.

  • Hazardous-material products once shipped, where return transportation is prohibited or restricted.

  • Airbags, seat-belt pretensioners, pyrotechnic devices, and similar regulated safety components, except where required by law or authorized in writing.

  • Opened or installed electrical and electronic components.

  • Items missing original packaging, labels, hardware, manuals, or accessories.

  • Gift cards.

  • Downloadable or digitally delivered products.

  • Items with removed, damaged, altered, or mismatched serial numbers or security markings.

A discounted price alone does not necessarily make an item non-returnable. An item must be identified as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page, order, or checkout documentation for that exclusion to apply.

Core Returns

When an item includes a refundable core charge, the used core must be returned within the period stated on the product page or order confirmation.

Unless otherwise stated, cores must be returned within 30 days and must be:

  • The correct core for the purchased replacement.

  • Complete and assembled.

  • In rebuildable condition.

  • Free from fire damage, major impact damage, excessive corrosion, broken housings, or missing essential components.

Customers are responsible for core-return shipping unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Core credits are issued only after inspection and approval. A core return is separate from a return of the replacement item and is not subject to the standard 25% restocking fee when it satisfies the stated core requirements.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before they have entered processing or shipment.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. The customer may request a return after delivery, subject to this policy.

Special-order, programmed, custom, freight, or hazardous-material orders may not be cancelable once processing has begun.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

The fastest way to obtain a different item is to request a return for the original item and place a separate order for the replacement.

The original purchase and replacement purchase are treated as separate transactions. The return remains subject to all eligibility requirements, shipping deductions, and applicable restocking fees.

Refund Processing

After the return is delivered, Iron Vault Industries will inspect the item and notify the customer whether the refund has been approved, reduced, or denied.

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection.

The refund amount may be reduced by applicable:

  • Restocking fees.

  • Original shipping expenses.

  • Return-label expenses.

  • Return-to-sender or freight charges.

  • Missing-component costs.

  • Damage or diminished-value deductions.

  • Other charges specifically permitted under this policy or applicable law.

Shipping charges and other nonrefundable expenses will not be returned unless the return resulted from a confirmed Iron Vault Industries error or reimbursement is required by law.

After a refund is issued, the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

Contact support@ironvaultindustries.com if more than 15 business days have passed since Iron Vault Industries confirmed that a refund was issued.

Labor and Additional Expenses

Unless required by applicable law, Iron Vault Industries does not reimburse:

  • Installation or removal labor.

  • Diagnostic charges.

  • Programming or calibration expenses.

  • Towing or roadside-assistance charges.

  • Vehicle, equipment, or storage expenses.

  • Rental-car or replacement-equipment expenses.

  • Lost income, lost use, downtime, or consequential damages.

Customers should inspect and verify the item before installation. Professional installation is strongly recommended for safety-related, electrical, electronic, programmed, or technically complex components.

Manufacturer Warranties

Certain products may include a manufacturer’s warranty when expressly stated in the product listing or accompanying documentation.

Warranty eligibility, duration, exclusions, and remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer. Iron Vault Industries may assist with the warranty process but cannot expand or modify a manufacturer’s warranty.

A warranty claim is different from a standard return and may require inspection, testing, professional installation records, diagnostic documentation, or submission directly to the manufacturer.

International Returns

International customers are responsible for all return shipping, customs documentation, brokerage charges, duties, taxes, and other import or export expenses unless the return resulted from a confirmed Iron Vault Industries error or applicable law provides otherwise.

Import duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges paid to governments, carriers, or third parties are generally not refundable by Iron Vault Industries.

International shipments that are refused, abandoned, unclaimed, or returned because the customer failed to pay duties or provide required import information will be treated as customer-caused returns. Applicable restocking, outbound shipping, return shipping, customs, storage, and carrier charges may be deducted from any refund.

European Union 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

When goods are sold and shipped to an eligible consumer in the European Union, the consumer may have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify Iron Vault Industries within the applicable 14-day period.

The customer may inspect the item only to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and operation. Iron Vault Industries may reduce the refund where permitted by law if the item’s value has been diminished by handling or use beyond what would normally be permitted in a retail store.

Unless Iron Vault Industries failed to provide the required information or applicable law states otherwise, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.

For a qualifying statutory withdrawal, Iron Vault Industries will refund the eligible purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. Additional expedited, premium, customs, or optional delivery expenses are not refundable unless required by law.

The standard 25% restocking fee does not apply to a valid EU statutory withdrawal.

Statutory exceptions may apply to customized goods, certain sealed products after opening, goods unsuitable for return for health or safety reasons, and other categories recognized by applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights provided by applicable law.
